Beyond the audit
Everything after the audit, too
Finding problems is the start. Mend My Sites helps you fix them, prove the work, keep watch, and turn it into paid work.
1 · Find
See what other audits miss
AI visibility that’s actually right
Each AI crawler is tested on its own, with AI search, live fetch and training bots kept apart. You see who can read the site and who can’t, and why.
Catches the firewall trap
robots.txt says yes, but Cloudflare’s “block AI bots” answers 403. We request the page as each bot and report what really happens.
Real visitors, not just lab scores
Core Web Vitals from Chrome users, with a six-month trend, so you can show a client speed work landing.
The checks SEO tools skip
Domain expiry, hosting provider, server response time and email records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC): the problems clients feel most.
2 · Fix
A fix plan anyone can follow
-
One plan, worst first
Every issue becomes a step in a prioritised plan, with urgent items and quick wins at the top. Plain English that a client can follow.
-
Steps for their exact setup
WordPress with Yoast, Rank Math or All in One SEO, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace and Webflow get the exact menu path. Everything else gets clear general steps.
-
Effort and who fixes it
5 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours or a developer job, and whether it’s for you, a developer or the host. Plan the week, or price it.
-
Fix pack: ready to paste
llms.txt built from the crawl, robots.txt rules for AI search bots, Organization and WebSite schema, head tags, SPF and DMARC records and security-header config. One zip.
-
“Verify fix” in seconds
Fixed something? Re-check just that item on the live site instead of waiting for a full audit.
-
Scores you can explain
Every area shows how its score is worked out, so “why is it 72?” has an answer.
3 · Report
Proof of your work, in your brand
-
Your brand, down to the domain
Your logo, colours and contact details on reports, PDFs and emails, served from reports.youragency.com if you like.
-
Share links clients can open
No login, unlimited viewers, hidden from search engines, and you can turn a link off at any time. You get an email the first time a client opens it.
-
Progress reports
The first audit next to the latest: what was fixed with before-and-after evidence, how each score moved, and what’s left.
-
Monthly updates, sent for you
Switch it on per client and the progress report goes out once a month in your branding, only when there’s something new to show.
-
Win cards
A before-and-after image in your branding, ready for LinkedIn, a case study or an email to the client.
-
Renewal summary
“Your year with us” on one page, with a reminder two weeks before the client’s renewal date.
4 · Monitor
Catch it before your client does
-
Alerts on what changed
Weekly re-checks email you when something breaks: noindex added, robots.txt blocking, titles removed, new broken links, scores dropping. Each alert shows the before and the after.
-
This week: a short list, not 200 issues
Every Monday: the few fixes worth doing across all your client sites, at most two per site. Tick one off and we re-check the live site.
-
A note to the client, already written
When a check catches a problem or you finish a fix, a short note to the client is drafted for you. Edit it and send it in your branding.
-
Friday all-clear
An end-of-week email: every monitored site checked and nothing open, or exactly what still needs attention.
-
Domain and SSL expiries
Every client’s domain and certificate dates on one screen, with registrar and host. Domain warnings 30, 14, 7 and 1 days ahead, certificate warnings from 14 days, and auto-renew tracking.
5 · Win work
Turn audits into paid work
-
A lead widget that qualifies
Visitors check their own site on yours. They get a report in your branding; you get the lead, scored hot, warm or cold, by email, CSV or a webhook to your CRM.
-
Proposals from the fix plan
Turn a site’s fix plan into a priced proposal at your hourly rate. The client reads it online and accepts it with one click.
-
Found money
Work your audits already found that nobody has quoted yet, priced and added up across all clients, with one click to turn it into a proposal.
-
Call brief
A one-page brief before a client call: how to open, the biggest risk, what to offer, and answers to the questions they’ll likely ask.
-
Team and client seats
Invite teammates as admins or members, and clients as read-only viewers of their own reports.

Questions agencies ask
Do I need to install anything on my clients’ sites?
No. Mend My Sites reads what a site shows the public, the way a visitor or search engine does: pages, robots.txt, the sitemap, DNS records and the SSL certificate. Nothing is installed and nothing on the site changes.
How long does an audit take?
A few minutes for the full audit with the 50-page crawl and Google’s speed test. You can leave the page; it keeps running and the report is waiting when you’re back.
Which platforms get exact fix steps?
WordPress (including Yoast, Rank Math and All in One SEO), Shopify, Wix, Squarespace and Webflow get the exact menu path. Over 20 platforms and builders are detected, and the rest get clear general steps.
Do my clients need an account?
No. Shared reports, progress reports and proposals open from a link without a login. If you want, invite a client as a read-only viewer of their own reports.
Can reports carry my agency’s name only?
Yes. Your logo, colours, contact details and reply-to address on reports, PDFs and client emails, and your own report domain if you like.
Does it work for one-off prospects as well as retainers?
Both. Audit a prospect, share the report and turn it into a proposal, or monitor retained clients weekly and send them progress reports.
What happens to my data?
It stays in your account and is never sold. The privacy page explains what we store and how to delete it.
Your next client report, ready before the call
Audit a prospect’s site, send them a report with your name on it, and turn the fix plan into a proposal.
